Double Convertible Tubes
Key Features and Functions
Dual Slots: Typically consist of a primary rectangular slot for the main archwire and an auxiliary slot ( rectangular) to accommodate headgear, lip bumpers, or secondary leveling wires.
Convertibility: The main slot has a removable face. Once “converted” using specialized pliers, the tube functions like a standard bracket, making it easier to engage stiff or large finishing wires.
