The CARRIRE motion 3D DISTALIZER is a specialized orthodontic device used to correct complex bite issues (Class II and III) early in treatment by fixing molar positions, often reducing overall treatment time. It acts as a discreet, low-profile alternative to bulky headgear or Herbst appliances, typically worn for 3–5 months before braces or aligners.
How It Works
Bonding: The appliance is bonded to the upper canine and first molar.
Elastics: A small elastic is attached from the upper device to a lower molar (often anchored by a lower retainer or braces).
Treatment Phase: Worn for 3–5 months, it rotates and uprights the first molars into the correct position.
Follow-up: Once the bite is corrected, the device is removed and replaced with braces or Invisalign to straighten the remaining teeth.
