A rotation wedge is a small elastomeric or metal auxiliary tool used with traditional braces to correct tooth rotations that cannot be fixed by brackets and wires alone. It is placed between the tooth and the archwire, acting as a fulcrum to exert targeted, gentle pressure on one side of a tooth to guide it into proper alignment
Placement: The wedge is typically stretched over the bracket’s tie wings on the side of the tooth that needs to be “pushed in”.
